Formation

Illic (infiltrate within 1") of enemy, Shrouded
Eldrad (67% for getting Fortune)
Vect (Seize initiative on 4+), Fearless
5 Master +25 Khymerae

Does this work this way? I mean all 3 characters join beast star unit during deployment and inflitrate 1" or 12" for alpha strike (thanks to Vect to seize)

Assuming your meta allows ICs to join units and confer infiltrate (most major US events do, but it is a gray area in the rules), then yes you could join all of them to the beast pack and infiltrate super close to the enemy.

But infiltrate also specifies "A unit that deploys using these rules cannot charge in the first turn." You'd still eat at least one, possibly two rounds of shooting before getting into assault on your turns. As fast as beasts are, you are better off moving forward and using terrain to your advantage.

That would be funny. But as been said it isn't allowed in any tournaments ( including GT) that myself (or friends) have been to. Curse you GW for not giving us even more broken rule abuse!

Just switch out Beasts for Wraithguard with D Scythes and add in Coteaz to get the reroll to seize. This assumes your area or event allows this. I do not play in an area that allows this.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

It is allowed at the Adepticon tournament

http://www.adepticon.org/14rules/40KAddendumv2014.pdf

it is not at the NOVA open (largest GT event)

http://www.novaopen.com/wp-content/uploads/2013-NOVA-Open-Short-Return-Draft-FAQ.pdf

The RAW do NOT allow IC's to infiltrate squads, and it's slowed as all hell, but it's how neckbeards ruin things with rules lawyering.

My favorite example is Abaddon pre-FAQ could not join marked squads of CSM. They fixed it, but neckbeard rules lawyers enforced a stupid misprint in the quest for "fairness" in a game not designed to be so.

If your opponent doesn't allow it, he's a douche, and you should play someone else. IMO.

Even then, it still wouldn't work as only Illic has permission to deploy that close. Everyone else will still have to deploy at normal distances.

Not tracking a FW Farseer with guaranteed Fortune. Which book? I am not super familiar with all the FW stuff.

Probably Bel-Annath. Only problem is he refers to the 4th edition Eldar codex.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

This makes him playable.

Seems to work fine with the current rules.
