Run Spyderstar to and use the barges to kill everything. Use the Ghost Ark and reannimation to keep the big unit of warriors alive, walking around shooting stuff and fly my other units of warriors onto objectives.
Any thoughts/ advice welcome ( I will be facing a termi heavy Dark Angels army if that helps)

Hate to burst your bubble, but you can't put a transport that can carry 10 models with a unit with 15 models. You could easily just switch them with one of the scythe units. IMO, that's far too many scarabs, but it's your list, not mine. The only question I have is: what're you planning to do with Zahndrekh, Obyron and your Destroyer lord?

sorry i must have gotten them confused, I thought the ark carried 15 and the night scythe carried 10, must have had that backwards. And Zahndrek, Obyron and the Destroyer lord go with the spyders, Zhandrek strips enemy units of their special rules (furious charge or counter attack, stealth and a couple others, he can remove one of them) Then the destroyerlord gives the whole bunch of them the ability to reroll ones on to hits and to wounds and that with Obyron's ability to stack up to 10 attacks per round of melee with a warscythe makes it really nasty. The spyders are good in CC in their own right but they have 3 wounds each which is really nice for rolling look out sirs to keep your other guys (mainly Obyron) alive. Its called spyderstar.

That's absolutely not true about Transports. You just won't ever be embarked on them or start embarked with them. It can still be purchased.

I like your second list more however you do realize your losing the ability on the Spyders by not having any Scarabs?

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Actually it depends on the transport. For example, ork boyz can not take a trukk if they don't fit because their codex says so. The Ghost Ark has no such restrictions.

yeah i realize i have to have scarabs to produce more scarabs. But i figured it wouldnt make that much of a difference since
i will be keeping them in CC with the lords anyway.

Sorry about that misconception, I have no idea where I got that into my head from. At least now I know I can just blob 20 Warriors with a Ghost Ark now. The more you know!

That second list is perfect I think for a competitive army. I mean really your not playing scarab farm so just go with that. I would put some whip coils in that squad for extra beefy.

i think i only have enough points left over to give one of them a whip coil. and if i cant put it on 3 i didnt figure i'd waste my time.

In a chair, staring at a screen

Keep one squad of 5 scarabs, that's more than enough. Take away one night scythe, 10 warriors and put in 2 squads of 10 tesla immortals. Mop up whatever points are left with whip coil wraiths or particle Beamer tomb blades.
