HQ:
Spiritseer (Warlord)

Troops:
5x Wraithguard w/ D-Scythes
5x Wraithguard (x3 Units)

4x Wave Serpents w/ Twin Linked Scatter Laser, Holo-Fields

Heavy:
Wraithknight w/ Suncannon, Scattershield, Scatter Laser
Wraithknight w/ 2 Heavy Wraithcannons

Total:1840 points

So I have 160 points to mess with. I can add in a Wrathlord or a squad of 5 Shadow Spectres with Exarch. The tournament is in one week and that is all I have to work with.

Help!

CH exarch is a MUST, its not anti fluff and the best AA in the game and costs exactly 160.

A CH Exarch costs more than that, but a basic Crimson Hunter would fill the points well.

Sorry, Ch costs 160, exarch costs 180. I also typed in you can drop SL from WK and make the hunter an exarch, but that part didn't show up.

I don't really have access to a hunter. I asked about the Wraithlord or the Shadow Spectres because that's what I have access too.

I can try and get one, but I doubt I'll be able to.

idk about a crimson hunter, wave serpents are great anti air. I would get better scoring.

Well 4 serpents in 2k seems poor AA, you know the matherhammer to take down a drake, consider someone taking 4 (or even worse stormravens).

I run a similar list with my Iyanden and I've gone back and worth with the CH. I'm a big fan of having all my shooting on the table, so I'd probably stick with serpents or maybe add war walkers.

I don't have a lot of experience, but it seems that you have a lot of mobility and the WL would not match this. If you can get hold of some, I'd recommend another Spiritseer with the wraithstone and a Ranger sqd.

Well if its between, the two, I would take the Spectres. They match the mobility of your army better.

Specters are the only viable option, the WL is to slow, and when compared, are found lacking.

It's not exactly keeping in the fluff, but what about a freeblade Imperial Knight?

I have one assembled that I had not yet considered. Thoughts?

Edit:

So the new list would be:

HQ:
Spiritseer (Warlord)

Troops:
5x Wraithguard w/ D-Scythes
5x Wraithguard (x3 Units)

2x Wave Serpents w/ Twin Linked Scatter Laser, Holo-Fields, Shuriken Cannon
2x Wave Serpents w/ Twin Linked Scatter Laser, Holo-Fields

Heavy:
Wraithknight w/ Suncannon, Scattershield, Scatter Laser

Allies:
Knight Paladin

Total:1995

Sure, I would take the normal WK over the sun cannon one though, with the extra 60pts buy the rest of the serpents cannons -20 and wraith stone for seer -30.

I would keep both wraith knights, drop wraith guard in serpents for dire avengers, and have the wraith knights stock.
That should give you enough points for the imperial knight, and 2 wraith knights with an imperial knight is just plain nasty.
