Wondering if you guys think this looks solid?

No idea what to do with the canopy. Don't really wanna paint the guy inside... Would kabalite green on the INSIDE of the canopy look decent as it'd be glossy with the paint on the inside? Thanks for tips!

It looks really good. I especially like the green line highlighting.

For the canopy I would airbrush (or paint it) in a bright silver/white. It would give the appearance of the sun or other light reflecting off of it.

Really great, but a Bud Light? Really?

Thanks for the insight guys. For the silver and white canopy, would that be a 50/50 mix? Also, budlight. Is better than nothing. i usually drink yuengling or IPA's. Haha

Love it, but why don't you want to paint the pilot?

Even a really simple drybrushing and a semi opaque on the canopy would look good.

I am itching to paint this kind of colour scheme for necrons or DE, but hard to justify with so many other boxes in front of me...

E: another thing with the canopy could be a big blend from green to white to simulate glare, I saw it here a month or so ago, not my cup of tea but great if you don't like painting the pilot

I hate painting pilots too!

One thing that worked well for me was to give them a simple touch up just to define them. A lil eye glow and what not, then create a glow from the control panel that radiates across them.. then im all like "woah man im not lazy its just hes a night fighting pilot cant you tell?"

I love the highlight tho. I think black or silvers with an obnoxiously bright colour is the win! I did it with my necrons and everyone was like woah dude raver necrons!

Could you show me an example of the pilot mentioned above?

Thanks so much. I actually dislike painting, but a league I'm in has really been motivating me. It stinks because I consider myself a decent painter, but find it difficult to get to actually doing it.

This venom made me feel good though, only 4 more to paint! haha.
