Plan is for the IS to blob up , protecting the tanks, PCS is for anti-mob / anti assault. CCS rides around ordering themselves and the blob to shoot things, Veterans... are basically there to occupy the second troop slot. Snipers ride in vendettas, who fly around wrecking face, dropping the snipers on objectives in late game.

option I'm considering - drop the second snipers and the flamers on the PCS and have the PCS ride in a valkyrie. Use those 55 points for something else (chimera for veterans? replace the wyvern with something?)

I think its a really good list. Sucks to not have Pask as your warlord though... The excecutioner combo is so much more efficient with pask just using old grudges i think. Maybe switch his buddy to a cheapo eradicator just to tank shots for him? Then you could spend around 80 points on something else I think?

Depends on how you play Pask's warlord thing. honestly. I've seen good arguments that he can just be your warlord. The extra 80 points might be good though - improve my blob or something. I'll think about that.

Hmmm, let's see, give some of those sniper rifles to the vets, might as well use their BS 4 and give the meltas to the SW squad, they can (if lucky) use Grav Chute to get at enemy armor.

Also, the Company Command Squad cannot order itself to do anything as long as it is in the Chimera. It can issue orders just fine, but cannot receive orders, not even from itself.

Is Pask not your warlord in this list? What am i missing? Maybe it's because of the senior officer in CCS? I'm just now getting back into the game after a 10 year hiatus, so i'm basically back to NOOB status.

I was planning to use Pask as warlord.

I'm alswo aware the CCS can;t order itself in the chimera, the idea is that it'll be ordering the infantry blob and veterans around.

I'll think about other uses for the vet squad - they're mostly there to occupy a troops choice.
