I sort of love the Mandragora figure.

I think he's super cute.

Also, I showed my wife the Gels. I'll be ordering a whole set. She's in love.

Agreed on both counts.

Oh yeah! I taught my nephew how to play yesterday. So it was him myself and my son rocking out. It was a good time and said he really liked the game.

I love the concept and concept are for the Mandragora, I just don't think it's been translated well into a sculpt yet... While I see all the major features of the concept art in the sculpt, the sculpt doesn't really pull it together. To me the sculpt looks more like a bunch of bits and pieces mashed together then a fluid object. Mostly I think it's the arms and weapon that needs to be changed.

Until Next Time...
I'll be out of the office next weekend in an area with poor internet, so there will not be a Friday update. We'll have a new update on Friday July 4th, with more WIPs and a PDF update. Tomorrow will be a new Visiting Hours post on the forums, with a new EFT Scenario. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to e-mail/PM us or post a comment.

Sigh... I think I'm going to stop paying attention to these updates until I receive my rewards. That way I only have to be disappointed once, and I had such high hopes for these sculpts.

The finished Mandragora I actually quite like, it just seems like his weapon should have been longer.

The Deep Troll WIP looks interesting, too. Not as sure about the other two, though.

Hey there folks, time for an early Friday update! We've got a bunch more WIPs and Finished Sculpt pics for you from Sean, and some new Art!

Deep Troll - Finished!

Fire Troll - WIP

Art
Noa has pumped out a few pieces of Miasma War Unit art this week:

Behemoth

Grug

Mage of Corrupted Sea

Mai Yunito

She has another piece coming later today that will be a part of the next Visiting Hours blog (Endless DLC). Next month she'll start tackling the scenario scenes, other interior MW art, and the Backer Created Unit.

Other Stuff
Sean's Miasma War sculpting will be done next week-ish (Just the Fire Troll & Zebolg to finish up), so we'll be able to begin casting work on those sculpts at the end of the month. We're waiting to hear back from Patrick on how his batch of sculpts are progressing, and hope to have some pics to share soon.

We've got a few things in the pipeline that we're not quite ready to show off, but hope to add to the pledge manger.. such as six new Gels (3 by Bob Naismith, 3 by Bryan Steele), a second Item Deck, and something else that we won't know for sure about until after Gen Con.

Until Next Time...
You know the drill, post a comment or shoot us an E-mail/PM if you have any questions/comments/concerns!

The Deep Troll looks excellent. That will be a must-have for me.

And the Mage of Corrupted Sea looks killer. Another must!

Not to mention the Behemoth. Cool stuff all around.

Really, yeah. Im with CC!
Absolutely adore that deep troll! And the new concept art looks awesome, and really really feels like it belongs in the realms of FFTactics and the like.

Still unsure how I really feel about the Fire Troll, but I cant quite put my finger on it. Needless to say, Ill need to hold judgement till I see the full mini!

Agreed, that deep troll is simple but well done! Captures the look of the art really well. Now if just the Mandragora spear were longer there'd be two models I really like. Although that wouldn't be hard to convert. I like that you guys have really gone for it with some of the non-human sculpts!

Two Updates this weekend:

Hey there folks, here are today's finished sculpts!

Fire Troll

Zebolg

This means that all of Sean's sculpts are done, and will be in the office next week...

Here is a group shot of all of Sean's sculpts:

Right to Left: Fire Troll, Deep Troll, Zebolg, Mandragora, Gargoyle Demonite, Kappa.

Once they get in we'll start molding and casting them up... which means we can start shipping them next month.

Pledge Manager
We'll go into further detail soon, but its our goal to have it open up at the end of the month and stay open until all of Patrick's sculpts are finished up. If you just want to get Sean's sculpts or the current range, we will be able to ship your rewards pretty soon.

We'll go into this more in a future update.

More Art!

Battsu, The Green Swordsman

Wait... There is no character called Battsu in the Miasma War campaign?

New DLC - Trials of Battsu

This week's Visiting Hours features a new series of scenarios for Endless, "The Trials of Battsu." These will be a series of Challenges that tell the story of Battsu, the Green Swordsman. Each will be designed to test your tactical skill and place you up against nearly impossible odds. The first scenario "Battsu vs The Hundred Elves" is available right now at the link above.

So, how well will you fare against The Hundred Elves? How many can you kill before their numbers will be to much?

The link in the image above will take you to the Trials of Battsu PDF, available free on WargameVault, which will be updated over the next few Visiting Hours, providing a glimpse into this new character's history, and significant battles in his life. As new VH battles are released, that one PDF will be updated to include them free of charge.

Let us know how well you do against this Challenge, we want to hear how many Elves you can kill before they prove too much!

Until Next Time...
Which might be later today, Patrick is going to be sending some WIPs over soon. We'll be at Giga-Bites in Atlanta, GA demoing Endless all day so communication might be slowed a bit; but still shoot us an e-mail/PM or comment if you have any Questions/Concerns/Comments!

Hey folks, two updates this weekend! We had to head off to Giga-Bites before Patrick's pics came in, so here is a second update to show them off. These are all in various states of progress. Make sure to check out Yesterday's Update to see the finished Fire Troll and Zebolg.

Lunarian

Chain, Heroine of Time

Berserker

Frayce Deepwell

Barghest

Giga-Bites

We had a great time at Giga-Bites, and will be going up there again next month on the 16th. Huge thanks to the backers who came by to say hi and play some Endless!

Until Next Time!
We'll be getting Sean's sculpts in early next week, and will begin the molding/casting process for them, so there might just be some pics of the new models on a board! Shoot us an e-mail/PM or comment if you have any questions/concerns/comments.

A Small Update wrote:
Hey Folks, not much to report on this week.

Pledge Manager
Surveys have gone out, and just about everyone has gotten them filled out. Kenny is hard at work getting the pledge manager ready, and we're currently looking at Mid-to-Late Aug to get it ready for everyone, around or after the 18th is most likely.

Miasma War Casts
We received Sean's sculpts, and have gotten the first mold made. We'll be getting the rest of them made this weekend and into early next week, with proper casting beginning then. We'll have some pics in the next update of the casts.

Hard Cover Books
We're very pleased to announce that we'll be offering a Hard Cover option for both the Rulebook and Campaign book. The SRP on these will be $50ea, but we'll offer them to backers at $35ea.

Until Next Time...
I'll see if I can get some more pics out of Patrick next week. If you have any questions/comments/concerns, send us a PM/E-mail or post a comment!

A smallish update wrote:Hey folks, just a small update this week. Still waiting on 5 surveys.

We've gotten the master molds completed for all of Sean's sculpts, and are working on casting up a few copies to make into production molds. So far things are going well, and we should start making production copies this week.

I snagged a couple of 'destined for the miscast bin' casts, cleaned/fixed them, and then painted them up.

Once we start getting production casts going we'll send copies out to Rollin' All Ones & Miniature Mistress to get nicer studio paint jobs.

New Class - The Witch
As you might remember, we offered a reward level where you would get to work with us to design a new unit for EFT. We just got the art in for it, so we're quite happy to unveil The Witch:

This is also the first art we've gotten done of a Rapteran, a race of winged humaniods.

Here is her stat card:

She will be sculpted by Patrick Keith after the Miasma War sculpts are done.

Zebolg & The Gargoyle Demonite

Here are my quick paintjobs on Zebolg and a Gargoyle Demonite! I'm still working on a Fire Troll, so pics of that in the next update.

Gen Con

Gen Con starts this week, and while we don't have proper presence at the show, Tom is planning on doing some Endless gaming while at the show. Check out his thread on the forums for more details.

Giga-Bites

Matt & I will be going up to Giga-Bites in Atlanta, GA again on Saturday. We'll be demoing Endless, and showing off some of the new sculpts. Come stop by if you can!

I didn't catch that add-ons were limited to Sergeant and up during the KS, so I'll have to wait for those to become general release before I order the rest I want.
