Looking for suggestions for a Khador 35 point list using either sorscha1 or butcher. I just finished a journeymens league so I do have quite a few models. Ideas and suggestions anyone? I am totally open to any ideas? Im going to buy some more stuff anyways to bump up to 50 points. Thinking of possibly a different jack and some battle mechaniks. Also like the sound of the doom reavers!
At the moment I have
Sorscha1
PButcher
Destroyer
Juggernaut
Winter Guard with UA +3 rockets
MOW Shocktroopers
Widowmakers
Widowmaker marksmen
Gorman Di wolfe

You should defiantly get Butcher 3, he's a really powerful caster, the most points effective in the game IMHO.

...Warcasters don't cost any points.
Butcher3 is good, but he has a fair few weaknesses due to being a unit. Clearly you've never been on the end of being Rebuked by Darth Stryker.
@ OP, seeing as you've gone for the WGDS I'm noticing the distinct lack of Kovnik Joe. Him combined with Iron Flesh from pButcher makes for some gaks and giggles. It's a well known tactic, but it still hits hard. DEF 17 Winter Guard with tough are no laughing matter.

I was talking about Warjack points, and butcher gets more than he should considering his power.
Butcher3 is good, but he has a fair few weaknesses due to being a unit.
While whilst being a unit instead of solo does limit movement, the sheer not only combat but also magic powers makes him somewhat OP.
Darth Stryker.
His name is Cloud Stryker

Yep, Joe has some excellent abilities to give to Winterguard.
Replies are in bold.

But there are the problems of people being able to tag an Argus with a debuff, and that affect Orsus as well. Rebuke being one example given, along with Crippling Grasp, Eiryss stripping upkeeps, model/unit based feats (like eHaleys) where they only need to catch one of the three models in the unit, not all of them, stuff like that.
That doesn't ruin him as a caster or anything, he is still a really strong choice, he just isn't unbeatable.

Yeah, I beat Butcher3 with pDenny by crippling grasp on the argus. Crippling grasp on B3 is painful. I also was setting up to use Prey from Nightmare to slingshot past an argus with the extra movement and still get the bonuses on Butcher3. But I won on scenario before that happened.
But while B3 benefits from some positive interactions with the arguses he also has some drawbacks from them.
Overall he is very good, but he isn't an autowin button by any means.

Of course Butcher 3 is beatable. No caster could ever be unbeatable. But he is the most cost effective model of his kind in the whole of Waemahordes.

He's really not.
Let's compare him to all the other Warcaster units in the game
Butcher3- 4 Warjack points
Iron Mama- 4 Warjack points
Hunters Grim- 4 Warbeast points
Makeda3- 2 Warbeast points
Now which is the odd one out?

Wait you saying Makeda 3 is bad? I have had a lot of success with her lately. Having to 2 straight up shield guards is really good.

Not by a long shot. I'm saying 4 warnoun points appears to be the standard for Warcaster/lock units, so can't really be used as a basis for their supposed cost effectiveness.

Ok that makes sense.

Butcher 3 also gets shut down hard by any magic denial. He also doesn't offer as much to his army as other Khador casters do.
The Covenant of Menoth, Orin Midwinter, and Lamentation all poop on him pretty bad. He's good, but he's not an "easy mode" caster like Butcher1 and 2 or Sorscha1.
I would get a Spriggan. The best all around non-character jack that Khador has.
You need to pick up Kovnik Joe to complete that WGDS you almost have. I'd also pick up the Wardog and an Ironfang Kovnik. The Kovnik will let you get the most out of your Shocktroopers, although he does it better for Ironfangs.

eGrim, because they're the only models that shocked me because they looked so good.
Did I get that right?
