Yeah Chaos deployment was a mess. Target priority too. One unit of oblits should have happily lit up those pathfinders with plasma cannons on Chaos turn 1 and the other should have lascannoned the skyray. Or put all 6 lascannons into the skyray and the Heldrakes would have been able to fly around with relative impunity. Then choosing not to baleflame the marker lights turn 2 was a mistake as well. Marker lights first, people. They're the only thing that makes tau shooting as scary as it is (well buffmander too).
I'll second the frontline mats, though. My club has two, and they're great.
