Magnus the Red apparently severed a group of tyranid's tie the Hive Mind.
This is just for fun. These are not chaos marines, these are from when the thousand sons were still loyal, and the game is taking place during the defense of prospero.
Tyranids weren't even in the galaxy in noticeable numbers yet.
The general backstory is Magnus came across a group of tyranids, and said "I want" and added them to his army by psychically bitchslapping the hive mind.
The real reason is because the only apocalypse level model I have is a hierophant.
And in legion the allies get a lord of war. Yeah.
I did this right before I left for class in the morning. So I had to add elaboration after.

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."

Tyranids and CSM can't ally. And an Allied Detachment can't take a Lord of War.
But since it's very likely you know that, I fail to see the point of this list. Apoc, maybe? If so, put that in your title.

Also, 4250 is a very strange number. And if you're just making up a random points value to play at, stick to your limit, don't go over by 10pts. If you want to go over, just change the limit since you're making it up!

Dont you have to have a full squad of 30 termagaunts to have a tervigon as troop?

Seems he's using the old codex. Back then, termagaunts were 5pts each and you only needed 10 for tervigon troop.

Bingo!!!
The 1250 point Hierophant should have been another tip off.
The new codex raped the Tyranids so we don't use it. Very few places in the Houston area use the new codex or the new apoc rulebook.

This sort of odd house rule should also be somewhere in your OP, since the internet can't be expected to keep up with everything Houston does.

Why not just use old zerkers and rape everything then? While you're at it, take a nightbringer.
I wanna live in Houston. If I could pick and choose what units and rules that apply to me I would be a black hole of win.

It's a friendly game.
They're codeces. A lot of people disagree with them and because its supposed to be a beer and pretzels game, new releases don't have to be implemented.
