Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."

Considering all custom rules, it seems like a great list.

However, I'm curious how 2-Wound Rubric Marines are at all workable in 6th edition. Suffer a wound? Just move him to the back.

Got wound markers for all that wound-play? Not being an ass, just legitimately asking how it will work.

Even if there is no wound-play silliness going on (You're playing TS so obviously you are not a WAAC ass), when you take fire from the left and then the right it is still too much to keep track of since multiple models will be wounded over the course of a game, leading to a slower game when you're already at high points.

It works fine as long as you intentionally try to avoid wound shenanigans. Otherwise that unit is the most unkillable thing ever.

I love that tank as much as I love twizzlers. And I love twizzlers.

There's nothing particularly wrong with the list.. but thematically I'm confused.. Rubricae are a post heresy development, and Magnus was a Daemon Primarch at that point, so the rules referenced wouldn't be entirely appropriate.

FWIW, I'm going to use the rules for Lorgar for Magnus for now, as he's pretty close, (only ML 3, but can pick his powers)
In terms of Balance, Lorgar is 450 points and I would say much less powerful than the Magnus rules presented.

Given that you would clearly have to invest a lot of money into making this army, it would be nice to not have to haggle over homebrew rules every game.

Looks like a few years yet until TS get their own rules.. sigh.

Magnus the Red can show up as long as he doesn't get banished, taking any form he want. In Battle of the Fang, he chose to appear (post-heresy) as how he was on Prospero when the SW attacked.
