After browsing the GW Retailer Site I noticed that a number of kits were being dropped from Re-order for Independant Retailers. These 'recalls' serve to back up the rumors of a new starter kit, BA & Ork re-releases. I would imagine that a lot of these may just be related to re-boxings, similar to that seen with Chaos when the Crimson Slaughter Codex and the Helbrute Kit were released. I also posted this info on my blog along with some of my own speculations, you can find it HERE. The list of drops are as follows:

Currently the Order Forms (January – April) are up to date except for:

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

The incoming price increases will surely help with that, too.

Sucks about the DE razorwing...I actually thought it was a cool-looking, fairly-priced model. So you think the new box is going to add $20 or $30 to the price? Also, I wonder how much more expensive they can possibly make the land raider.

Whatever price they change the land raider to will just make the dreamforge nano mags look that much more promising in the coming weeks.

Price increases? Where'd that news come from? I thought they'd done away with the yearly price adjustment.

If you regularly "browse the GW retailer site", you would have made a note of this instead of trying to drive up traffic for your blog:

No longer required stock for Stockist status

So these items aren't necessarily "no longer available to order". It just means that these items are no longer required to be stocked for a retailer to get "Stockist" status from GW.

Underneath of the bit that you copy/pasted is the following:
Spoiler:
Superseded products (newer versions):

BS1: Chaos Space Marines

BS1: Chaos Space Marines Raptors/WarpTalons

Ext: Chaos Space Marines Rhino

Ext: Chaos Space Marines Terminators

Ext: Chaos Space Marines Terminator Lord

Ext: Chaos Space Marines Forgefiend

No longer in range:

Ext: Cadian Battleforce

Products replaced:

BS1: Citadel Cutters (at stock level 1)

BS2: Citadel Knife / Citadel Drill / Citadel Tool

Ext: Codex Imperial Guard with Codex Astra Miltarum

Ext: Warhammer Wood Elves with (new) Warhammer Wood Elves book

Makes sense. I don't see the Ravenwing Command Squad box getting a replacement anytime soon.

They've changed apparently to "updating" the price of a kit gets some sort of an update, even a partial one like a supplement like Crimson Slaughter for Chaos Marines. While they do occasionally change the contents (rarely), it usually amounts to pulling the kit, changing the cover art, and reissuing the same models for a higher price. Instead of everyone getting a price increase every year, the additional of new rules/updates/codex books softens the blow of the accompanying price increase.
