Sorry if this has been covered, could not find it....

Can plague zombies man and fire a quad gun? I know the fluff says they use their guns as clubs, but it does not say to drop their BS, so by the rules they still have BS3 and should be able to shoot.

Is this correct?

Yep, they can still fire Weapon Emplacements.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

I play zombies myself, but I don't think that zombies can shoot the quad-gun because they cant shoot anything in the first place. You need to be touching the gun, and shooting the quad INSTEAD of your normal weapon, which you cant or don't have.

But after a minutes thought about it I realize how would a Bloodletter fire the quad either?

It's something like: "You can fire a quad-gun instead of your regular weapon". Bloodletters got swords. "Hmmm what should i shoot?..Sword or a quad-gun...sword or a quad-gun..."

Obviously the solution is that the zombie grabs the quadgun and uses it as a club

Nightlord - in that case genestealers cannot run, as they also have no shooting attack to do the running instead of.

Besides the fluff saying they use their guns as clubs, it does not reduce their BS skill, so i can not see why they can not shoot the Quadgun. Just wanted some more opinions on it.

It's just a case of the fluff conflicting with the rules. It makes absolutely no sense that someone too stupid to use the gun in his hands would suddenly decide to use a cannon emplacement, but it's perfectly within the rules.

My headcannon has the zombies controlled by a psyker. Their main weapons fell off or rotted away, but the quad gun is not broken yet, and so they can be commanded to use it.
