Just wanna check, as I've never brought a battle force box before (so I suppose this question applies to all battle forces)

Does the tau battle force include all the options you'd find in the separate boxes?
Pulse rifles, pulse carbines, shield generators etc?

Are the sprues basically the ones from individual boxes, thrown into one bigger box?

This question's been asked before. Basically, would it make sense for the options to be removed? Typically no. A battleforce (or whatever the new name for them is) is essentially a repackage of all the composite kits with a discount.

As been said, yes they do. The Tau Battleforce is 56 quid from Darksphere

It's an understandable question. A battleforce is basically a package deal. The starter boxes, which are a similar thing, do NOT contain all the options for their component units.

Rule of tumb, if its not a starter set-its usually just a repack, the starters however (black reach, dark vengence, etc) are their own unique casting who has only 1 set of pre-built options and stances.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Starter sets are the one that are missing things. Thats because its suppose to be a "bargain" for the models you get, and it usually is with the offset being significantly harder to modify models. Most of them are 2-4 pieces glued together for a fixed gear loadout - battleforces dont do that, so youre fine.

Would be rather interesting to see Tau in a starter box....though unlikely since they are only known/popular because of Riptides atm rather than the fluff. Less modifiable models....probably not the right word there but you get my drift...wouldnt bother me since im used to slicing orks up to make something else anyway lol.
