Any rules for them? I know in the Knights codex it says come the apoc for the allies so I was wondering if they can field something like a knight in the game.

No. IA13 will have some though.
The Imperial Knight codex notes that the majority of Knight houses remained loyal however.
But it also says that all Knight Pilots are male because only a penis can power a 50 foot tall death mecha or something equally stupid.
So I'm iffy on paying it any heed.

Does chaos have anything close to a knight in size and points? Like a big dreadnought or something ?

Chaos has had Knight rules since 4th, and the data tax for them was up on the GW website from the introduction of Apocalypse thru to mid last year. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until 7th hits to field the current Knights in your Chaos army.

Not really. Take guard primary, chaos allies, knight detachment for your guard. Nothing really prevents it.
Or just tell your opponent "Hey. I'm taking a chaos knight with my chaos marines. Hope you don't mind."
And then they'll complain, and you'll say "Oh, what, you mean my codex is so good that adding a knight makes it totally broken?"
And then you'll both laugh and laugh and he'll let you bolster your band of heretics with something the good guys get for once.

You can field them. I am sure in 7th edition GW will say modify and change any rule you feel like it. If anyone doesn't let you field one for fluff reasons, then...
Another reason why we have Unbound. People just being daft not letting people play for fun, that GW had to make rules so you can do it because some people just wont let you play for fun.
