I was wondering, is it possible to get CSM characters, such as Abaddon and Typhus into a daemons unit?

I.E:

Typhus with Plaguebearers

Abaddon with any Daemons unit (as he has the mark of chaos ascendant)?

Or is there anything that prevents this (I haven't found anything yet, though nor have I found anything permitting it per-se)?

Daemonic Instabiltiy means it cannot work either way round - daemon in chaos or chaos in daemon.

Somewhere I missed that and read someone whose list involved having Typhus in a squad of plaguebearers.

Are you sure it wasn't Typhus in a squad of Plague Zombies? (Upgrade of CSM cultists)

Doubt it, it's a codex specific restriction. A change to the Allies rules would make no difference.

Yh. Besides, they're already battle brothers, what more could GW do to them?

Unless they put out an FAQ that just reads "feth everything we said before, all models can just do whatever the feth you want."

Daemonic Instability is a Codex rule, and that is what prvents you from joining or being joined
