So a few months ago I got 2 Island of Blood sets because I was starting a Skaven army. I have painted up most of the Skaven stuff and haven't had any money to buy new models and want to paint. So I decided to start a High Elf army since I couldn't find anyone who wanted to buy them from me so why not?

I don't have the book and was wondering what kind of lists I could make using all the models I get from 2 starter set boxes. I am hoping I can get between 500-1000, preferably using models that are decent and not terrible. I don't know anything about High Elves so I am not sure if they have some bad models like the Skaven do (ew Rat Ogres!).

Thanks for the help!

With 2 sets of HE IoB models you can easily make a list up to around 1500 and not be spending too may points on warrant less upgrades..

It won't be the best army in the world but it'll do for a start.

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.

But the iob Rat ogres are fantastic D:

I think you have the opposite problem from every other Skaven player ever. I have piles upon piles of unpainted Skaven, and since I use transparent bases I can't use them until I've painted them!
I'm impressed that you're keeping so ahead of your purchases with your painting that you are starting to paint other stuff. Hats off to you.

Oh thank you!

The Rat Ogres from IoB look really cool but I think they are generally a bad unit in game. I did paint them though because they are neat looking.

I really didn't want to paint High Elves but when you have no money to buy stuff for armies you have it is time to start a new army if I have them sitting around!
