Good evening Dakka peoples I've recently decided to make additions to my 500 point sororitas army and I'm going to build it up to 750 here. Sadly I seem to be having some trouble figuring out what to add to fill out the extra 250 pts. here is the 500 point list I am using as a base:

HQ- Canoness, eviscerator, rosaries
Celestians command squad, Hospitaller, 4x heavy bolters

Troops- 5 sisters, flamer, heavy flamer, immolater with TL multi-melta
Troops- 5 sisters, flamer, heavy flamer, immolater with TL multi-melta

Points of note: I really don't like using named characters so I will not be adding a saint Celestine or Uriah Jacobus (not to mention I really dislike Jacobus in general as a model and in terms of fluff)
I don't have any FW stuff like the avenger strike fighter or the repressor and they would be super expensive for me to aquire here so hopefully I won't have to go that route.

I think a squad of dominions would be nice in an immolater with TL multi-melta and 4x meltaguns but that only leaves me with 89 pts left over I think and I can't see much I can do with that. Would be nice to fit in an exorcist too.

You should make the Command squad Retributors, the rending act is much better.

Besides that I would recommend 5 Seraphim with 2 twin hand flamers and a excorcist. Any extra points on extra retributors and a simulacrum for them. Or possibly the mantle of ophilia for the cannoness.

yeah the retributors would be the better choice over the command squad, my only reason for taking them like that is because in larger battles when my heavy support choices are eaten up by exorcists i'll still be able to field a HB squad, right now though yeah I agree I should switch out the command squad.

Definitely. They're a great addition to any AS army, and I usually run them in groups of 5/6 even in larger games.

Kool then it looks like going from 500 to 750 points I will invest in some seraphim and I will wrap up my dominion squad.

So to recap I've switched my command squad to retributors and since that's saved me some points I had space to fit in one extra sisters in each of my troops making them 6 sister squads, I was even able to put a simulacrum imperialis on the retributory squad since their act of faith is definitely worth having.

all this comes in at a 751 points cost which I think my opponents will be ok with.

Sadly I couldn't get some seraphim in yet but going from 750 to 1000 I'm thinking an exorcist and a seraphim squad would mix nicely giving me one anti-infantry and one anti-tank choice. Thoughts? Am I on the right track now?

Definitely. Also you might want to add an aegis line for some anti-air, but if the rumors that snap shots become -2 BS instead, it's less necessary.

yeah prior to buying fortifications and buildings I'm gunna wait for my new rule book to arrive before I dive into that. At the very least buying the models for the army will always be worthwhile as long as gw continues to put out these mini-dexes to keep them relevant or...make a full size adepta sororitas codex?!?!?! lol
