So far I am only seeing "Citadel Miniatures" right now. No mention of Forge World. So right now, I am thinking the debate continues. Since I am starting to read the rules, does anyone know if the rule book "allowed" other miniatures or FW as "legal"? If so what page. I just can't believe first words in the rules are "The Citadel miniatures..." with no mention of FW yet.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Oh well, not a huge deal really. If you really want people to accept Forge World make sure you take Forge World bad stuff as much as the good stuff and people will see there isnt much of a problem.

it's owned by the same company produced for the same game. I'm not sure how it could get any more offical.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I know, just saying that is all. Also how hard is it to say Citadel and Forge World? 4 simple words to avoid all the hassles.

I see what you mean, but I doubt, in our lifetime, we will see GW do that. So just start by making FW acceptable by being sensible in how you introduce them to people.

So have the model and rules and dont use FW for its super power. Some people dont realize how bad units can be and only see the good ones. Make sure people see the bad and slowly opinions will change.
