Idea is to summon units of horrors and hopefully get some sacrifices off for some Greater Daemons. IF anything this will be fun to play. Was planning on running them as Skaven models. Have a few ideas for last 100 points in a fortification.

the problem with summoning bloodthirsters, is they have to appear swooping, so will take two turns to assault. Keepers are probably a better bet.

Well that and it says you can only have 4 heralds in you primary detachment and you can only have one primary detachment... So the list is illegal...

You can have a primary with 4 and a secondary allied detachment. Just needs to have 1 HQ +2 troops in each detachment.

An allied detachment only allows 1 hq and 2 troops. so yes, this list is illegal.

Nope, not if its an allied detachment. If its a second primary detachment it is legal. Still trying to see if you can do this, I'm pretty sure they have to be from a different faction.

They are combined arms detachements. Pg 569 "Core Detachments - these can be included in any Battle Forged army."

Pg 562 - "You can include any type and number of detachments in a battleforged army providing you have sufficient units."

So what happens is if you are allying with yourself, you have to take 2 Combined Arms Detachments, (which means you have to take HQ and 2 troops in EACH CAD). Of these, you select one HQ as your warlord. The CAD containing the warlord is your "Primary Detachment" and can take "Ideal Mission Commander".

Lolz! Csm don have this problem cuz they can ally black legion or crimson slaughter!

Does daemons has a ally supplement?

7th edition allows you to make combined arms so you don't actually need to "ally" you just need 1 hq and 2 troops instead of 1 hq and 1 troop, but you get to use 2 full FoCs and still be battleforged.
