Hi Dakkadakka !!! First english is not my first language, sorry for any mistake i make

Here's my problem, my best mate birthday is coming up and i was thinking about buying him some new nids for his army.
I dont want to throw my money out the window for something useless to him.

Right now he allready own these bugs:

-flyrant
-trygon
-tervigon
-1 zoathrope
-1 venomthorpe
-1 carnifex
-3 warriors
- crapload of termagaunt and hormagaunt
- 8 genestealers
- flying gaunts ( harpies ? )

So waht do you think would be a nice addition to his collection ?

He can always use more carifexes they are very good.
Another good one is a exocrine very good shooter.

Id go for exocrine myself.

Yeah the exocrine looks really good i agree .... And what do you think of tyrant guards/hive guards ? He told me he'd like to try the walking tyrant but i hear it's only viable with tyrant guards right ?

He needs a Harpy/Crone. Magnetize that and he'll use it all the time.

Eh, only nid player at my flgs uses 2 crones often and i still think theyre as bad as harpies. Both my orks and my tau kill them in a heartbeat.

The Exocrine on the other hand...that thing is fething scary. He brought that and said what it does and i immediately loaded that thing up with so much ammo, and tanked it like a boss btw, that his other crap got close enough to charge me. Feth that behemoth lol.

Yeah the exocrine looks powerful, and his AP2 is gonna hit my dark angels hard....

Exocrine is a good choice, although I personaly dont field one( the benefit of having a boatload of other MCs avalibal to me). Or if you decide to go for another option I would suggest more Warriors, they are very good sculptures and dose well each time I field them

Flying gaunts are the gargoyles.

I'd probably go for the big flyer (Crone/harpy) or the big serpent (trygon/mawlock)
He doesn't have much flyers/ FA slots taken. He only got one Heavy slots taken and MCs are always fun. Trygon can put tunnels, mawlock huge blast when he comes out (and scoring now!)

Both kits would be good, cause they have two choices each, so he can tailor for his army.

At least it's only 24"... and if it moves, keeps its BS 3. When there's one (or more) of those out there, I grab cover a bit more tightly

When I first heard about it, this immediately came to my mind:

So what stands out is the exocrine and the flyer ... I'll dig into that. He also talk about the lack of synapse creatures in his army, i heard a lot of good things about a 2 flyrant army, that could be an option you think ? or it's better to field two flyrant on larger games ? (2000+)

A second Hive Tyrant Box, is sure to be useful. You can also get a box with two Carnifex in it that is a good value.

Haruspex/Exocrine kit.
