When one of your units is targeted, that unit rolls Deny the Witch.

When your opponent casts a Blessing, you roll Deny the Witch. But who is actually trying to Deny the Witch? God? The Great Juju on the Mountain? Destiny?

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy that there is now some counter against blessings, but it feels kinda wierd, like you have become an unseen unit on the board.

Any allied psyker attempting to interfere with the enemy psyker.
The combined willpower of your soldiers that really really don't want the enemy sprouting extra muscles.
Maybe a few of your soldiers are latent psykers, not aware of what they are doing when they just really want the enemy psyker to stop.

It could be anything.

A good question, and important one. Even though you don't get a bonus to DtW for blessings conjurations, some things get other bonuses ie Reinforced Aegis: This unit can reroll any failed Deny the With rolls.

I think they intended for things like that not to work on blessings so they specifically put it where it's just a roll you make.

I don't think that works. That unit isn't being targeted by the blessing so any modifiers can't be used.
