Ideas on a postcard.
Chaos get a boon of having access to guaranteed invisibility on a fairly durable platform in the form of belakor. Chances are however you are only going to get one chance at casting it. The unit it is cast on needs to be a sufficient issue for the enemy that ignoring it is very difficult.
Ideas on a postcard. My current thoughts:
5 spawn with juggerlord with axe of blind fury. (Or slaaneshii lord on steed if you want noise marines )
5 nurgle spawn with nurgle character with jump pack or bike.
Lord of skulls (very expensive in points and pounds)
Land raider loaded up with combat troops.
Chaos Spartan loaded with combat troops.
20 fleshhounds.
5 hellbrutes in a formation.
Would love to hear other ideas.

Be'lakor with the grimoire.
Invisibility + a 2++ invulnerable save on a jump monstrous creature with a potent statline and still enough MLs to throw around some other powers if he wants to.
Trololololol.

Super fun, but he's already hit on 6's when flying, so doesn't really benefit. Handy if he needs to get into combat, but with the changes to swooping, thats less likely.
With new jinking he can get a 2+ cover all the time, so only really needs the grimoire against lists with potent ignores cover shooting (basically wave serpents, maybe guard with orders)

I said Jump because if you're paying that much for a melee beatstick, he may as well be able to assault in any given turn.

Very true and thats always an option. Looking at whether there are any bigger force multipliers.

Perhaps cast it on another demon prince. Give him wings but keep him in jump mode to assault. Jump princes are dangerous its just that they usually get shot to hell first. Invis will go a long way to help him make it to combat. If he still can't make it, up his continuous jink saves with DoN. You give up I8 sweeps but hey, 2+ cover in the open only hit on snapshots. Automatically Appended Next Post: Far from 'best' and probably still not as good as flesh hounds but the new invis could make bloodcrushers not unusable.

Squad of 10 nurgle bikers and a PF+LC lord could be pretty dangerous when made invisible. Lots of multicharge potential and greater killing power than hounds (can melta transports and then charge occupants, have a source of AP 2 attacks. Well, I see invisibility as a way to get Forgefiends into the fight. I have never actually had one of mine do anything substantial in a game, losing hull points too quickly. This might be the answer.
