I bought a redeemer to paint at a local store, but when I looked online, it does not look like the redeemer shown in the gallery on PP website. It has the same weapons, but the body is different. Were there multiple sculpts of this warjack?

Probably you got the old metal sculpt I am guessing. There is a newer plastic kit for the redeemers that is part of mutli part kit for 3 different menoth heavies.

So if the redeemer you have is metal that is what is going on. Still is a redeemer just different a sculpt.

The Redeemer is a menoth light jack, and if I remember correctly, menoth has no multi-part light warjack kit.

@ConCon- What you might have is the old metal sculpt now, which PP discountinued for a while now.

All warjacks come in a couple of separate parts to assemble.

I think he meant multijack kit.

Anyway, yes there is both a plastic and metal redeemer kit.

Yeah, I might be thinking that is the case as well.

Yes, the Redeemer is metal. How long ago was it discontinued? I wonder how long it has been sitting on the shelf. Does this mean that all war jacks are plastic now? Is there a price difference between plastic and metal?

Some jacks are still available in metal. In general the plastic ones are cheaper but not always.

I prefer the metal sculpts, they are superior to the plastics.

Woops, I always get all their jacks confused.

I think the Metal light jacks for Cygnar look horrid, even when not compared to the plastics. Guess it's have to be a matter of personal opinion.

For the Revenger plastic sculpt, I agree wholeheartedly. The position of the shield is what I hate the most on the new sculpt.

I'm pretty sure you could put the shield into the position of the metal version with a little cutting at most.

In general, I prefer metal over other materials. PP's restic makes this even moreso.
