Small summmonstar but enough other stuff hopefully to guard it. Needs to hold up against a drop pod assault.

I had been looking at a similar list, but correct me if I am wrong, but if you are taking the Balestar of Mannon, you don't need the Spell familiar, as the Balestar allows you to re-roll failed psychic tests.

And actually, if you are going to be summoning, don't you have to take all your powers from Malefic to get the Primaris Power? At least that is what I understood. If that is the case, you don't need the Balestar at all, and just the Spell Familiar.

You either take a Balestar of Mannon for Divination and re-rolls, or the Spell Familiar just for re-rolls. Don't take both, it doesn't make sense.

I don't understand why are people so confused with how Primaris powers work. You can always swap one of the powers you roll for a Primaris, it's just that when you take all of them from a single discipline you get the Primaris in addition.

If you want to summon Daemons with your Sorc, what about giving him Prophet of the Voices? With Daemon USR he wouldn't peril on every double. He'd also get a 5++, so you could remove the SoC and use the points for something else.

Yeah didn't need the spell familiar. Actually want to roll some diviniation just for variety. Forewarning and precognition have proved pretty good. Might drop the mark of nurgle.. the nurgle spells just aren't as handy. Then im 30 points up for ... something?

The prophet of the voices means the sorceror can't hide out in anything but possessed, who really suck.
