And 7th is HERE! This is the first game. and what a blast... some twists, some turns. I can't wait to play more and learn the new edition through and through.
Thanks for watching!

For once here are the lists and what not:

Dark Eldar Cult Troops:
Succubus - Haywires, Power Weapon (lance)

5 Wyches
Venom - Dual Cannon

8 Wyches- Hekatrix, Venomblade, Phantasm GL.
Raider, Grisly Trophies

6 Reaver Jetbikes

The Chaos Space Marines:

Sorceror, Mark of Tzeench, Force Staff, Sigil
- Powers:
Tzeench Storm (primaris)
Biomancy (Primaris), 6 and 1
we assumed that both battle focus and the chaos FAQ both apply unless otherwise stated, does anyone know any differently?

10 CSM - Flamer, Plasmagun
5 CSM - Mark of Nurgle

3 Terminators - Combi Flamer

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We chose to play an Eternal War mission, and rolled crusade, 5 objectives, and dawn of war deployment. We played on a 4 by 4 table.

I Chose to deploy first (as this then gave me the choice to go first or second) after seeing his deployment, I took second turn because it was an objective based game and he lacked any real long range firepower.

Thanks for watching!

That was great. I really enjoy battle reports of smaller games.

I believe that even though you're getting tzeentch's primaris automatically, the rules say you still have to roll half your powers from the tzeentch list so you'd need to generate at least one from that tree before going to biomancy. Therefore the standard "psychic" focus doesn't apply - it's why they invented chaos focus in the first place (since all chaos sorcerers have to get half their powers from their god's chart).

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.

Correct.

Also you only get ruins cover saves by being inside the actual ruins meaning the wyches should have had a regular 5+ cover for obscurement. Possibly a 4+ for your warlord trait but I am not sure on the exact wording and im being lazy lol.

Good game.

Obscurement from walls is still a 4+, I would say shooting through ruins qualifies if they have walls.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, It was a 4+ because it was the ruin walls that gave me cover +1 for stealth ruins. That saved my backside.

Glad you liked the report. 7th is going to be awesome.
