HEAVY SUPPORT

168 4xLF (2xML,1xLC)+1xWG TDA/SML

Tactics

Tigurius and WolfLord join Terminators pod and drop first turn with the two squads of greyhunters. Tigurius is one of the best psychers in the game with rerolls to psychic tests and powers. He rolls for biomancy or telepethathy. I think terminator with SML is better than two longfangs with MLs cause is only 13 points more expensive and you get 2+ armor save for the squad, making it extremely durable. Last but not least, the dreadnought and the squad come from reserves with rerolls from tigurious, making it more possible for them to come on board when needed. Also the tac squad has reroll meltas from the tac doctrine and in games with objectives can be seperated to two different squads. One to guard your base objective, and one to hunt enemies with meltas in a pod. everything is painted as spacewolves (tigurius as a master runepriest and the tac squad as bloodclaws ).

PS1: Dreadnought is there for those who spam plasma. Str7 wont help against this guy

PS2: IF wolf tooth necklace can negate invisibility, ill trade the SS in the TDA WG with a combi- plasma and use the remaining 10 points fot WTN on the lord

What do you think???

my lord is next to tigurious with psychic hood, so all nearby units can use tigurious deny the witch which is 5+ and if the opponent psycker is lower mastery becomes 4+, so no need for wolf tail talisman

Until for some reason Tigurious dies and the hood is gone. I'm sure you can squeeze the points for a Wolf Tail Talisman from somewhere.

Could drop the Las on the Fangs down to a ML. That frees up some points. That one Lascannon won't be a dealbreaker, usually.

Tigurious will die last, cause wolflord is there for challenges, not to mention biomancy powers and invisibility. So no need for WTT.

Lascannon is useful in longfangs cause makes them more of a threat instead of just having weapons that can be deflected by 2+ armor save.

That's not something you can guarantee. I'd rather pay the five points just for that peace of mind.
