So after the WH40K FAQs and Errata for 7th Ed was posted on Black Library, I reached out to GW to find out when iBooks copies would be receiving the updates.
Here is the response- received this morning (GMT)
Hello,
Many thanks for your email and we do apologise for the long delay in responding to you. Since the new web store launched we have received a large increase in both calls and emails.
I have looked into this for you and these will be updated within the next two weeks, the reason for the slight delay is that we need to wait for Apple to approve these updates, as soon as this happens, they will go live.
In the mean time, all of the FAQ's are available as a pdf download from the black library website
http://www.blacklibrary.com/faqs-and-errata.html
I hope that this has been of some help
Regards
James

No surprise. Apple approval is always a good scapegoat.

What would be hilarious is if someone from Apple was a wargamer, and sent it back wi a long list of reasons why the FAQs and Errata were wrong/what they should be!

We find comfort among those who agree with us - growth among those who don't. - Frank Howard Clark
The wise man doubts often, and changes his mind; the fool is obstinate, and doubts not; he knows all things but his own ignorance.
The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense!” Professor Brian Cox

Except it's not really a scapegoat when that's the truth of the matter. Apple is the end contact for customer support when people purchase things via their store, so it's in their interest to make sure everything works.
It's no different to how Microsoft or Sony have to do certification passes on DLC for games.

I think I may have been misunderstood. Maybe scapegoat is the wrong word. Reason?
