Hey everyone! To start out, I am a new Warmahordes player but have been playing 40k for awhile now. I want to make a casual list with eHaley but I have a few questions...

1.) Is Thorn even a possibility in 15pts? (I love the model and the lore between eHaley and Thorn)
2.) I would like to at least have a squire follow eHaley around to help her out.
3.) What would be some decent units to include that will add a general defens/offense against many things?
4.) If I can't get all these things in 15pts, what would be the best steps to forming a 35pt list?

I know this is not the typical list posting and I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum...I would just like any help and tips to help round out this army.

You get a good assassination missile with the Stormclad, and at 15 points I think enemies will be struggling a bit at range (with deceleration up). Clearing chaff isn't that much of an issue at 15 points, 3 focus to Thorn and he can kill a couple of infantry reliably (the enemy will only have 2 squads at the most), meaning that the Stormclad can wait a bit back and hammer any heavy who tries to mash Thorn/shoot a bit to help clear out infantry before the assassination run.

eHaley at 15 points is just really good, because she can really pour her focus into one or two targets, rather than having other units wanting deadeye/protection through deceleration/etc, you just have the Stormclad to power up and throw, and Thorn to throw a time bomb if you want.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Thanks for the feedback!! It makes me feel a bit more confident in my list making skills...even though it's only 15pts haha!! We all have to start somewhere I guess!

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about games at 15 points - have at least one heavy, then a bit of ehatever you like for kicks. The game can be a little janky at the points level in terms of balance, but it's all good fun.

Only thing I might mention is that "casual" and "eHaley" don't tend to go hand in hand she's actually not that bad at this level (she needs more points to really shine, and there are some seriously powerful casters at that points level), but she's a pretty brutal caster generally, and her feat can be painful for many opponents.

Hey hey hey, I resent that 'no casual with eHaley' thing. My Tier 4 Gravediggers list begs to differ!

What are some "God Tier" Cygnar casters for casual 15pt play? I'm probably going to stick with eHaley, I was just wondering your thoughts on the topic.

If you mean extremely good when you say "god teir" eCaine, without a doubt one of the most bull**** good casters at low points levels. His feat is amazing as an assassination tool at higher levels but in a low point game where there's less to hide behind, and where trivially removing an enemy heavy or unit on feat turn causes a huge swing in the game, he's god tier. All he needs is a squire and Rienholdt, and he'll murder anything.

If you mean great for playing casually... I dunno, Seige or possibly even the generally average Darius (repair feat can actually be decent at low points levels, but not crazy). Kara Slone or all-jack Kraye are also pretty good (Kraye would actually be pretty fun if you like jacks).

As I said though, 15pte can be a bit janky in terms of balance (though most armies have access to a very powerful low-points caster), which evens up around 25-35 points.

Trencher-tastic! I guess that is one way to keep eHaley in check

I personally loved running eHaley with a Defender.

Also Arcane Tempest Gun Mages were one of my favorite units to run in Cygnar no matter who I was using. They are good with deceleration because their defense is stupid good and makes them hard to hit. Just some other options.

The Black 13th seem to be very strong for their points cost! I wonder if using a lesser 'jack than Thorn to make up for points value cost of the B13th is worth it...

Thorn isn't bad honestly but you will find that a regular lancer does just as well with eHaley.

If you are looking for other casters. eCaine is a freaking monster. Like straight up stupid with the alpha strike.

I personally liked to run eHaley with a single Heavy and then troops everywhere else. Stuff that was self sufficient like Gun Mages and Forgeguard. She then had focus for spells and for loading up the jack to do some stupid things.

Ok, I think that I have decided, after reading into a few different units, to change the list and include some Merc solos. Here's what I have now:

eHaley +5
-Ironclad (bonded) -7
Gorman -2
Eiryss2 -3
ATGM+UA -8

Although, I may trade out the ATGM+UA for some Stormblades+UA to help with some of the heavy lifting if my Ironclad keeps getting his hammer shot...I had a lot of help from some other forums to help with this list and I just wanted to share with everyone here!

The problem with Stormblades is they suffer from short range on their ranged attacks. Plus the rest of their stats are average in my opinion. I think that the ATGM + UA are much more effective with eHaley. They can handle enemy stealth because of the tactics from the the UA which is huge. I never ran Eiryss2 with eHaley. then again I never ran her period. I always ran a Defender with a Squire to extend her control range for deceleration. Played the list as more of a gun line style. The defender can be rather effective in melee as well with his big hammer.

That being said I like the list I think it should do well.
