There was some interest in the main Ork Rumor thread so after discussing it with Mister Feral, I've opted to do the photos of the sprues since I've still got everything on them and he'd clipped some out.

Can't fault GW for the quality of their sprues lately. These are densely packed and look nice. Orks get a lot of combined torso and legs bodies for some reason though I've noticed.

They are looking pretty epic model wise, planning on putting mine together this afternoon.
Going to get another box of nobz as well and mix it with the left overs.. love the idea of running Freebooterz ally force.

Brilliant isn't it?
I'm about halfway through assembling my boxset. Most of the time I'm taking assembling them is mostly mixing and matching bitz to see how they look together.
I'm definitely going to take snappies of them later for size comparisons, if that's cool?

All number of gun parts, you can almost build them bit by bit and fully custom, none the same as orks should be.
Amazing collection of bits.

Bitz are great, only wish the poses weren't so similar to each other. So mono-pose.....

Nasty Nob
|
Worth mentioning, for those planning on using Nobs with Gits, that the Nob shoulderpads and the Gits shoulderpads aren't perfectly compatible (they can work, but you have to make sure that they do).
The Nobs pads have a ridge in them to seat them onto the nob torso fronts. This will need to go if you use them on Gits, but it's not difficult. The nob pauldrons are a bit shorter in the back than the Gits shoulder pads, and may not go all of the way to the suspender straps on the back of a Git torso. The curvature on the two sets of pads is also different, and you may need to bend/flex the shoulder pads to get better adhesion. It is a small gap, but it means that the attachment is weaker than normal.
The gits shoulder pads have a handle in the front where the strap for the snazzgun goes. You may need to plan on an alternative if you use a nob shoulderpad on this shoulder (you might just want to stay with a Git shoulder pad, since they all have sockets for a gitfinder.
The Gits heads with screaming open gobs really need to be reserved for use with the flash gits torso/neck assembly, as they look very odd on a standard nob 'neck lump".
In more positive news, the nob front torsos fit well into the git back torsos, and several of the nob torsos come equipped with the appropriate amount of extra bullets to really fit the look of the gits. The git front torsos also fit well onto nob back torsos, but a little more care needs to be taken in matching them up, as several have tabards which hang incongruously when attached to a nob body, rather than a git.

Turns out I have no decent models to compare the assembled Flash Gitz to, but I thought a few shots would give people an idea anyway; My first Git assembled, gone for the classic "More Dakka!" style of Snazzgun. Lovin' the flying bullet cases, loads of those in the set. Out-of-the-box model except a few plasticard and rivet gubbinz; Same but with gun and attached arm seperate. Convenient for painting! Note: unless you paint the strap completely separately, stick it to shoulder pad and not the gun. If you do, you won't be able to get the Snazzgun back into place after painting! Second Git, in my mind an ex-Bad Moon and owner of a shock-energy type gun. I love the buried chest (or sunken chest as it will be for my basing): Naturally I had to try some proper kit-bashing conversion work, so the Kaptin gets the start of what will be the biggest and best Snazzgun (courtesy of a Devestator Lascannon and plasticard / plasticrod scraps); I will come back to this beast of a weapon once I have assembled the other two Gitz and I know which bitz I have left to play around with!

I'll be doing something similar this weekend, now the leak battle report seems to confirm Badrukk is an actual HQ this time around, so Freebooter allies ahoy.
Here are my first five.

Those guns look great when assembled, but if they have options, swapping the parts looks a pain.
At least the arms are interchangable. The scions box is a sood to assemble, if you want special weapons to be swappable.
It looks a very good set, and worth the price.
