Dark Angels Librarian with Book of Secrets

Hello guys,
I'm a new player just getting into 40k. While I've gamed of all kinds for several years and followed 40k culture for awhile, I'm only now getting into table top gaming, but boy is it a blast. I currently started a small 1k point army of Dark Angels from the Dark Vengeance set but I hope to have a second army of Orkz or Nidz, if money permits. I'm always looking for advice, either when it comes to strategy, painting, making your own terrain, or anything really, so I look forward to talking with you guys. Dakka seems like a great community!

I painted them a little to hone my skills, but am currently selling them to expand my DA army.
Side note, everyone's been super nice, thanks for all the warm wishes!
