This was brought to my attention:

Some info:

Zenit miniatures has two games published right now, one is Kensei, set in medieval and fantasy Japan, (made possible thanks to other crowdfounding, last year - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/517754.page), and the other one, less known is Nemesis, set in an original fantasy world with its own story.

Zenit is a company based in Málaga, Spain. Currently they made their miniatures in metal, with some big models made in resin with metal parts.

So, this KS is for Nemesis. The first target is get money to made the "juggers" (some sort of big monsters or big magic machine-artifacts), and then get more money through 'stretch goals' to upgrade Nemesis.

Kensei CF in IGG (successfully finished apparently): https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/kensei-fantasy-creatures--2

Certainly looks interesting!

All the miniatures from this campaign will be made in metal except the Juggers, which that will be made using a combination of metal and resin.

Nice find, Alpharius! Some very cool miniatures and factions here. Post up what you think of the rules, erratyk.

There's some misinformation in the first post. I have a couple starter armor for Nemesis and they are all plastic, not metal. I don't think they're anyway for Nemesis at all. The plasti is a nice one though, not too soft and easy to clean away the flash (there's a lot of flash).

Game book is maybe a little dense. Never played, just liked the models.

KS early birds look like quality to me. And stretch goals have good value.

That seems to contradict what is on the Kickstarter page (which I quoted above). And I'm thinking you're meaning resin (i.e. not mass-produced plastic like PVC).

Do you have pics?

I didn't find it, I was just asked by someone to post it - so I make no claims to the veracity of the quoted section in the first post!

As always, do your homework before pledging for anything on Kickstarter, or really, before buying anything, anywhere!

I can take pics early next week to show what I have. I make no claims as to being able to distinguish plastic, PVC, or resin (see other threads for those debates) but they certainly are not metal.

(Quick research shows that Noble Knight games calls the minis "resin.")

Maybe they are changing material? Maybe the Kensai line is metal?

I asked that question in the kickstarter as I have a resin starter set. Zenit appear to be changing to metal for most of their needs due to costs. The Kensei IGG also was for metal figures. So for the foreseeable future, Zenit makes metal miniatures.

I'll snap some photos tonight.

I have pretty much everything from both the Rocavivas and the Kids.

The original models are definitely resin. It's a lighter colored resin than I'm used to (it's nearly white) but the models are really well done and full of character.

Sadly, never got around to playing the game.

Is Juan Diaz doing all of the sculpts?

I was just wondering cause that could take a while!

Why the slow moving thread? The models look good and they've been checking off actual FREE model stretch-goals are a pretty healthy clip.

I'm in at the 2-core sets + hardcover rules tier for now, and am definitely curious.

I think it's probably a lack of information about the game. The rulebook is a bit difficult to follow due to the translation process, there's no gameplay videos and no faction overviews. Also the creators are primarily speaking to Spanish fans and backers.

Great models but the campaign needs a little tightening up.

So any opinion of the quality of the minis or the game rules?

Five days left on this one! I've gone in for the Duel level (core sets for two factions, plus the rulebook), which with all the freebies that have been added is looking like a killer deal to me (there are still early bird levels left). I had initially dismissed this Kickstarter, as the artwork and some of the minis are a bit too cartoony for my taste, but was convinced to have another look by a friend who's really into them. Definitely some nice minis to be had here (there are better pics on Zenit's website for their existing stuff); I'm going for the Kingdom of God and Thousand Faces Cults factions. They also seem to have already completed sculpting of almost all of the new stuff (the Juggers and freebies); it's looking good.

I know there are quite a few competing Kickstarters up and running presently, but I really think this one deserves a look through!

In on its last 24 hours now! This KS has had a hard time, makes me feel sorry for the Zenit team, but I guess the competition is really stiff right now. It's been painful seeing this bleed its way down to £33K as people have dropped out, but I think we may finally be on our way up. At £34,5K now, and with free minis at £36, 38, 40, 42 and 45K, fun things can certainly happen in the last 24 hours. I'm hopeful, and even without any more stretch goal it's still an amazingly good deal!

Im supposed to talk to one of the creators of the rulebook and I might have the task to translate it.

they have actually changed their goals sooner so more people can back them up.
