Hey guys, sorry for this simple question.

Finally found my plasma cannon after a really long time of not knowing where it was....

I want the background of the cannon to be dark angels green but have been frustrated at filling the lettering in.... help?

I have done dry brushing, watered down wet brush as well.... thanks!

Im assuming he is talking about the venerable dread one as i dont see anything else with lettering.

Its probably best to use a metallic like copper or brass or whatever your metallic detailing is on your army for any lettering panels, then wash in the letters.

i second this method, water down the wash and let it dry, do thin layers until you get the desired look

Dark angels 70/100 of deathwing, 50/100 ravenwing, 80-100 3rd company
IG +6k pts
and a sampling of different armies
warmachine, 40-50 points of:
protectorate, legion, and convergence armies
