Cool idea, making all those Space Wolf parts go further without losing the look of them! Looking forward to seeing these painted.

Looks cool. I actually prefer the standard SM helmets to the SW ones (helmeted or not), my next batch of SW I'll probably try and source a pile of standard SM helmets to put on the SW models.

I'm completely the opposite on that fence! The SW heads all the way. I just wish they would make them a little more Fangy! haha

Good Thinking!
It looks much more "realistic?" when the bits are spread around. Too much fancy stuff on each model with the chapter sets is just cartoonish and excessive IMO.
Using new tactical box gives the old wolves a fresh look too.

I think that's the best way to do GHs (apart from using the original metals of course ). When you build them fully from the current kit they are too overloaded. Could be fine for characters or Wolf Guards, but GHs and Claws need some vanilla parts.

I think we are forgetting that the grey hunters are still seasoned veterans. Blood claws which I doubt anyone makes could be left more vanilla, but these guys have been. In many wars. Only the very best make it into the wolf guard. So really they should be as fury as possible.

I liked the way they turned out. I still need to get my own mix kit of grey hunters (some of which are sporting some Mark III FW parts) finished.

Well, there's a slight risk of gluing something together with it. Only slight, mind.
