Okay, so Ossyan's feat adds a die to ranges attack damage rolls. Does it add a die to the slam damage and/or collateral damage of a Banshee's gun?

No because the hit models won't be suffering damage from the ranged attack, they will be suffering damage from the throw and collateral damage.

Yep, that, right there.


Just remember that all Power Attacks are melee attacks, and thus cause Melee attack damage, and Collateral Damage is it's own thing (neither Ranged nor Melee).

Okay, just wanted to say that I actually got this wrong - which is probably why I shouldn't answer questions after a long training day. Don't know what I was thinking, as the slam is from a ranged gun, not a power attack, might have missed that.

But anyway - to correct my mistake - yes Ossyan's feat should work on the slam damage - the damage roll becomes both Ranged and Slam damage.

However, his feat definitely won't work on Collateral damage, which specifically says that the damage doesn't count as coming from an attack or model.
