The lord and sorcerer join the termies and head off after the enemy HQ via deepstrike. They are sort of my deathstar unit.
The tanks are there to be tanks and blow stuff up, like other tanks.
CSM head straight for objectives and maybe tank hunting duty if the opportunity arrises.
The turkey clears the skies, pretty self explanatory.

What are your thoughts? How would this fair in casual and competitive play? I know CSM aren't competitive so I aren't looking for super competitive you will win everything sort of thing, just that it will put up a fight.

All seems OK and balanced. I would want to scrounge some points to get veterans on the marines to help keel them in play.

In terms of wargear ;
Murder sword is an odd choice, as the chainfist should do you ok. Lightning claw could be cheaper? And gets you the bonus specialist weapon attack.
Power fist on a sorceror is very odd. (Not 100% sure of allowed) power axe is ok and free with the sorc. Maybe with metal bombs on backup
Spell familiar very good for the sorc if you want to get invisibility off reliably.

You are losing out on some alpha strike by not giving your Termies combi weapons.

The mix of weapons on the units .. not my cup of tea, I would rather dedicate one unit to plasma and another to melta. And prefer combi plas to plasma pistol.

Havoc launchers are ok, but VOTLW is probably better use of points.
