I played a match where I got tabled this weekend. I stupidly flew my flyer off the board and my opponent killed my last two bikers.
We ended up tied 7-7 in a purge the alien game.
But I just remembered his IG command squad and warlord never came on the board.
It's still loss for me but would that make it a 7-9 loss then?
Is it possible to get more points but still lose?

If you get tabled you auto lose, regardless of points, so yes... Automatically Appended Next Post: Claiming you have killed his warlord because you were tabled before he came on is... funny?

When anything is left in reserves at the end of the game, they count as destroyed.
Also, when you have nothing on the table at the end of the game, you lose.
The way I would look at this situation is game turn ends and you have no models on the board, so you lose. At that point, I don't think it matters how many KP you had on the other player as you still lose.

Yepp, you still lose by having no models at the end of the turn on the table, but, as mortetvie said - you still get the points for his warlord as he counts as destroyed if he didn't arrive on the table.
So it's a loss but with you having more points because you got tabled.

In a tournament situation I think most TO's would not give you the point though as the only reason it didn't come on is because he tabled you before his turn 4, if the game continued past your talking they would have come on automatically.

How could the commander never come in from reserve? Did he forget?

He could have just kept rolling 1-2 also there are abilities and warlord traits that combine and modify your reservrve roll so his opponent could be rolling for 5+ to have reserves enter.

Can someone give me the Sub-Section Title where it states Units in Reserve are Destroyed?
I know I am just over-looking it....

If there was still time left, Most tournaments would have him finish out his turns. So if you lost on turn 3 he has 2 turns to come in, get line breaker, stand on objectives etc. You may have lost, but the game is not over.
Same as if you was so far ahead in cumulative points the opponent couldn't win. You still play out the game.

I have located the oversight, as it is not a Reserve Rule but instead is located within the primary victory conditions of many Mission Types. Therefore one would have to be playing that Mission Type for it to matter, in this situation they are.
