Eh, I watched that a few minutes ago (for a reason completely unrelated to this thread; twas linked in a discussion of G rated remakes of R rated films, and vice versa) and the thing that struck me was that he waited for aaaaaaaaages before commencing the beatdown. Frank Castle (based on how I've read his character in the comics) would strike earlier; if he heard someone being raped he wouldn't just sit there and wait till it was over before doing something, he'd walk over while it was still occurring and blow the criminal's brains out
I will agree that that short is absolutely brilliantly done (though a bottle of JD would have broken), but the time he takes to start breaking people bothers me a bit.
