Good morning, as the title says im looking to see what you all think is the best IA book for the Imperial Guard.

For flavor and some interesting items, the siege of vrakk books are very good. But if all you want are rules, yeah, one of the earlier imperial armor books without fluff.

IMPERIAL ARMOUR VOLUME THREE SECOND EDITION - THE TAROS CAMPAIGN has rules for the Elysian drop troops and Tallarn.Which are two of the armies I collect.

Formations? No, but it does have the Armored Battlegroup list in it.

Which is a great book and the Elysians are highly under rated. Fun army to play, and play against.

Do you have the new imperial guard codex as you have more flexibility than ever with them.

Also there is a new armor detachment in White Dwarf 23
