The "Christ" story is common trope to many fictional narrative. While I laughed when I skimmed that thread, it's pretty much the general idea that the Emperor is a Christ-like figure and that his second coming would banish the "heretical" and lift the righteous to a new pantheon of greatness.
Reading about the love life of Eldar, though? O_o

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Isn't it the best? Doesn't it make you feel amazing to know how nuts some people are and to know that, hey, I sort of have my gak together? Sort of like a Roman Colosseum idea. "Hey, I might be piss poor and will die at 30 from diarrhea, but that dude is getting mauled by 3 lions! I Totally don't feel like rioting anymore!" Plus, laughter is good for the heart or something like that

Most YMDC threads are a simple question asked and answered, and contain fewer then half a dozen posts.
Meanwhile, I'm not seeing a point to this thread beyond making fun of other posters... which would be a fairly blatant breach of Dakka's primary rule. So how about we all find something more productive to do with our time, hmm?
