After playing some Euro Truck Simulator 2 these last few days I've been bitten a bit by the simulation bug. What types of simulation games do you play? Do you have any accessories for them?
Currently I have a Driving Force GT wheel + 2 pedal combo. I've been considering getting a flight stick as well so I'm looking forward to hearing what all you have to share!

"So, do please come along when we're promoting something new and need photos for the facebook page or to send to our regional manager, do please engage in our gaming when we're pushing something specific hard and need to get the little kiddies drifting past to want to come in an see what all the fuss is about. But otherwise, stay the feth out, you smelly, antisocial bastards, because we're scared you are going to say something that goes against our mantra of absolute devotion to the corporate motherland and we actually perceive any of you who've been gaming more than a year to be a hostile entity as you've been exposed to the internet and 'dangerous ideas'. IL-2 Sturmovic is very cool. Very hard game, joy stick very recommended.
Very realistic. You gotta learn how to fly in formation, how to take off and land, how to bomb and how to fly without dying with little training (well, pretty much none...).
Missions are realistic. Its amazing!

If you don't mind going back a few years, Microsoft's Flight Simulators were awesome. The combat ones were pretty boss too.

Agreed, that game was great. Although I never got that far in it, something to due with me not being cut out to be a pilot

I don't know if you could call it a "sim" in the strictest sense of the genre, but the older Mech Warrior games were a great giant robot driving experience. I absolutely loved breaking out the joystick and foot pedals. Just wish 3 wasn't so insanely unstable on modern computers.
There's actually Mech Warrior: Online which is the same concept in a MMO. Very good game from what I've heard although I've never gotten around to playing it myself.

Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!

I used to regularly do long flights, stunt tricks, and play "tag" on MS Flight Simulator with a friend and my dad years ago. My friend had a bunch of fancy flightsim controllers, but dad and I had the old MS Sidewinder joysticks to get us by.
Man those were the days. Nothing more fun than narrowly dodging clipping another 737 with yours while weaving in and out of a cityscape.
...post 9/11, that's actually really really dark.
