A while back some DKOK miniatures were listed as "out of stock". I emailed FW and they said they'd be back in stock, probably in a month or so... that was 4 months ago.

Just checked again today and they've now removed several DKOK units completely from the site.

Missing all the basic infantry squads and also the PCS and CCS.

Looks like this might be the end of DKOK?

I've already dropped a lot of my armies and was just working on a DKOK army, if this is the end of DKOK, I think it may finally be the end of 40k for me.

They're being updated, as far as I am aware. New book is expected soon, ish.

I hope so and I hope their aesthetic doesn't change too much if they are (don't want the typical 40k bobble headed DKOK).

But yeah, I'm holding off anymore purchases until I know what's going on. I already got burned on Aeronautica Imperialis by having an incomplete force when it got dropped, really don't want to waste any more time and money on DKOK if they are also getting dropped.

They were talked about at the 40k day by the FW guys, but they as usual won't say a lot

As of about a week ago the answer is "the molds are being repaired, we hope to have them back within a month". And I seriously doubt FW is going to stop making an army as popular as the DKoK.

Does this also mean Renegades and Heretics; Defenders of Vraks are getting redone?

They often remove listings while they're fixing the castings. I'm not sure *why* they've taken so long with the DKoK stuff, it's been absurdly long and I'm sure that time gap has just been feeding a certain well known chinese recaster in the meantime.

I doubt they'll change or are planning on permanently removing them.

That was the answer I got back in, ummm, lemme check my emails, 11th of March...

"Both kits have had to go back to the design studio to have some repair work on them and this can take a long time. They may not be back in stock for another month."

So 4 and a half months ago.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they come back, it's just been a very long "month", lol.

FW are riding so high on the HH right now I imagine everything even popular lines like DKoK will fall by the wayside for quite a while.

I would doubt they will disappear though.

I should also mention that in the same email I asked them about a non-DKoK kit that is gone from the site, and they clearly stated that it was OOP and never coming back. So I don't know why the DKoK stuff is taking so long to replace, but I don't see any reason to doubt the claim that it will be back eventually.

they're amazingly popular, like more than cadians. would not be surprised if they get a plastic kit.

Hopefully I was just being hasty, it's just been such a long time and to see them go from "out of stock" for 5 or so months to simply not there had me worried.

I'm still not buying anymore IG until I see them return though!

All DKOK infantry stuff back up today.

Yay! Only the "at ease" squad hasn't been put back up, I wasn't really planning on using them anyway.

You would almost think FW reacted to this post.....or is that just toooooo freaky to think on!
