So, there just happens to be a CD quality version of Expendables 3 floating about the web.... If you've seen it, what are your thoughts.

My opinions spoilered:
Spoiler:
The movie was good. It knows what kind of movie it is, so that helps. Not as many one-liners as the first two, but the action is pretty well done. The new members are pretty decent, acting wise. Victor Ortiz could have had more lines. Snipes was fun to watch, with him making tax evasion jokes and all. Ronda Rousey semmed pretty solid in her first acting role. Her action scenes were pretty entertaining to watch, but I think she suffered from "bad script syndrome". Hearing Harrison Ford and Jet Li make fun of Bruce Willis was interesting, too. Overall the movie had decent pacing, and I had a pretty good time watching it.

I guess they wanted to milk it even more?

The first two where low budget movie wise and the amount of money each one made gave the director enough mojo to go back to the studio and say, hey lets do round 3.
I still want an Expendables where Danny Glover's only single is "I am to old for this gak."

"Hi, I'am Cthulu. I tried to call, but I kept getting your stupid answering machine."

Expendables is great: it's a bunch of action heroes making a fun action movie that doesn't take itself seriously, allows them to make fun of their classic cheesy lines from past films...they can keep making em, as far as I'm concerned-they can update the roster and just keep it going.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

This. I love these movies. 80's action brought to life in the present with all our favorite old action stars, current action stars, and new kids who are probably on that track. It's fun and they don't take themselves seriously at all. LOVE THEM!!!!

I did think that almost all the actual "acting" lines going to Statham and Chris Hemsworth on the last one was pretty hilarious. It still amazes me that some of the people in those movies made it into acting (i.e. Stallone, Van Dam, Arnie).

I loved the trailer- when they break Wesley Snipes out of the train headed for a prison (For those who don't remember, Mr Snipes got locked up for a few years for tax evasion)

I thought I'd go ahead and bump this since the movie is coming out in a few days.

It looks decent. Haven't seen the second, but the was decent, minus that Windows 98 fire effects. Will probably watch the second, it's on Netflix (so pretty much free) and thus will watch the third when it comes to Netflix. They're decent movies, but if you go in with low expectations, they're not too terrible.

I don't want a pg-13 rating at all though.

Is it R rated?

Sadly it's PG13, hopefully they do an unrated version on CD or something. No silly blood effects and people getting shot to pieces is kind of a downer....

Thats part of the silly action movie charm for me. Silly mindless action violence, not brutal gore and blood. Putting in more blood would take it away from the original intent of a near parody of 80's & 90's action movies with a wafer thin plot and an excuse for lots of guns and explosions without having to think about the reality.

Reviews are really really bad.

Lots of bad movie reviews right now. I blame the lack of cheap Cuban cigars.

Well, I wouldn't go in with high expectations. It's a fun movie, but that's about it.

I really enjoyed the first Expendables film, the 2nd was good but not as good as the first. I'll probably see this one as well.
