Just a concept Mini i painted up, I'm trying to decide on a scheme for the new Codex release

Thoughts?

The colour of the armour is great, but the model looks unfinished because so much detail has just been brushed over and missed.

I think if you picked out some of the trim with bronze (and dirty that down) it would look much more complete.

Thanks for the feedback!

Looking good, but needs a bit to break up the grey. You could go with old Eye of Terror Codex style and mix in CSM bits or colors from armor repairs over the millennia.

Or just paint the 13th Great company colors or symbol on the shoulder pads.

Very nice, I like the muted look. All I'd do is hit the armour joints with metallics, but other than that, excellent!

The wolves are great too!

The addition of the bronze is really nice, I have a few more comments and then I reckon they will be just where you want them.

First try a quick highlight on the face, make it pop out a little more. Doesn't have to be super bright, but something for depth.

Also try to pick out the runestone on the necklace in something thats not grey, or at least not the same grey as the armour.

Paint the sections highlighted in red with bronze. Its the wrist bands and the eagle on the backpack. Just try to pick out what you feel should be bronze and match both sides.

Paint the yellow sections in black. Its just the joint tubing and as a solid black will break up your grey and keep the muted feel.

Paint the wax on the purity seal red (in green) just for a bit of a spot colour.
