Going for a fluffy Word Bearers army that uses the new malefic powers without abusing them to the point of getting my ass kicked by a bunch of 16 year olds irl.

Strategy:
Terminators deep strike in and wreck gak with their meltas.
Sorcerers go entirely Malefic and hide behind buildings or in cultist packs behind ADL while summoning daemons.
CSM and Spawn get to CC asap.
HS puts out dakka.
Chaos for the Chaos gods.
Pants for the Pantheon.
etc.

I'm not familiar with Daemons, which ones should/shouldn't I summon with the Sorcerers? (Other than Pink Horrors, my FLGS destroys anyone that fields those nowadays)

Thoughts?
(If anyone bothers to read this far, I'll eat my commissar hat.)

No Dark Apostle, no Helcult Formation. 0/10 fluff dude

If you're going to buy special weapons for the cultists I'd really suggest flamers because its an assault weapon and because it works the same even though they have a lowly BS3

Pretty sure you need a 5 man squad to buy the reaper autocannon

I have never seen someone buy so many guns for their tanks. There is no way you can have them appear WYSIWYG lol they're like ork wagons with all them guns

I'm morally opposed to data slates and the Sorcs are totally just psychic Apostles, I've put impurity seals all over the models, I swear.

I planned on using the cultists to hold objectives on my side of the board and act as fodder for the daemon summoning, hence the stubbers.

The autocannons were a holdover from an earlier iteration of the list when I had 5 in the squad, I've removed them.

I guess I was kind of putting too many eggs in one basket with the weapons, I've removed several upgrades from the list and added a unit of bikers, is that better?

Most perceptions of a Word Bearers army contains Apostles, cultists, and elements of the daemonic. I would five you credit for fluff for attempting any of those, simply because not every army will contain everything. It looks vastly different than an Iron Warriors, Night Lords, etc army.

I would suggest using the Crimson Slaughter rules, to give every unit Fear, and access to the Artefacts. Daemonic summoning with two Sorcerers is a good base, but that leaves both of your HQs tied up without hugely supporting your army. I would suggest swapping one to an Apostle to join a large unit of cultists. If you do use the CS rules, take the Mace for the area effect, and your Sorcerer Slave to the Voices. Now you can summon with a Sorcerer who doesn't perils with doubles. The downside is he won't be able to join any unit you intend on fielding, so take a Bike for survivability and speed even though he won't be joining his brothers. But, perhaps they don't want to join him anyways...

Your Terminators don't appear to be upgraded as a traditional suicide role with MoT and GoM. I'd drop the extra upgrades or combine them into a larger unit with a different role.

.. it could work, but sorcerors are not particularly good at summoning daemons, as they will suffer from perils virtually every time, and only have two wounds. Putting them on a palanquin of those nurgle could help.. but at the end of the day daemon princes are just better summoners.

Of course if your sorceries transforms into a greater daemon, or transforms a nearby cultist into a herald, then you dont have any problems.

You will need to get familiar with daemons if you want to do summoning.. and improve your collection.

Daemonettes are best all rounders (fast) flesh hounds are also good, and bloosletters are good against marines. Nurglings are probably best at hiding and sitting on an objective.

Bloodcrushers are pretty good when they're free, screamers are the only real antitank, and flamers can destroy a clumped up unit.

All the heralds are OK,obviously you want to be able to hide then in an aligned unit. Tzeralds are good fr more warpcharge, or give them a disc and boost across the board.

The keeper and LoC win out for the greater daemons. Keeper is fast and LoC can flt around summoning (and is OK anti air) . GUO is too slow (But nails) alas the bloodthirster takes too long to land and impact the game.

A slightly more fluffy suggestion...

Take Dark Apostles and cultists.
Then take an allied detachment of Daemeons, and let them handle the summoning (the will suffer less perils for starts).
