Are things like the gorkanaut-orkanauts, Kans, dreads, stompas and gargants all easier to build than say a battlesuit, dreadnaught, knight or things like forgefiends ? And where does gorkanaut-morkanaut fall in priority for the orks versus building other things like mega dreads or stomps ?

Priority is based on what the Mek feels like and the amount of materials/teef.

War bosses will pay well for a Stompa, but they might not have the parts.

Killa kans are the easiest produced because they just need Grots to toss in there.

Deff dreds require "volunteers" due to the nature of it the ork won't be able to leave the dred.

Gorkanauts require more training than the other two and a piloted by Nobs. So usually this leds itself to be bought by the Nob who wants it.

Stompas seem in lore to be inspired to be built. Though this could just be digestion.

over there

Yes i thought i read that if a mek joins a larger waaaaagh!!!, he may build stompas.

The west is on its death spiral.

It was a good run.

Also battlewagon's, trukks, artillary and aircraft to some low level one making a big shoots or upgrading a orks weapons.

Meks build all kind of things not just oversized walkers, a big warlord who orders a new battlewagon may get priority over a nob who wants a morkanought. Rank comes into things too.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

Morkanauts are only piloted by meks as far as I can tell.

I think if you want to put lore into your own forces what should take priority.

Right now my army doesn't have any Warbuggies or Warbikes and is getting an influx of Killa kans. So lore wise my guys like shoving Grots in death machines more than going fasta

How long does it take to normally accomplish building their walkers ? I know the Kans and dreads are easy, but what about the stompas and gargants if they pull out all the stops and have all the materials on hand ? Is it quick or does this take a while ?

Depends on how much WAAAGH! is going on.

With a large enough WAAAGH!, the Mek can likely get something amazing accomplished in a startlingly short time.

You build a few Kans first.
Then some Deff Dreds.
Of course next you need to build sum ting bigga, so uze gotta build a Morkanught.
Den, Stompas is da next step.
If you is a Big Mek by dat poiint, and da Waaghh is going good, uze got enough to build da Gargants

And if meks combine on projects. Gets few on a project and things pick up the pace fast. A big waagh will have lots of meks involved and one may know how to build a extra dakka gun, another a fancy energy weapon and combine top make a even more powerful walker.

Whilst asbit of fighting over who iead lead mek and such so the machine is painted in 3 different patterns and glyphs.

Unless one of the meks is really really big anyway.
