Here it is, my first ever model. I absolutely love the games, and the Edelweiss, so I had to get this kit!

I couldn't justify purchasing an airbrush to paint this one model, so I did the whole thing by hand. Had a bit of trouble with the decals though. I wanted the model to look new so I didn't do any weathering, also coz I was afraid I'd go overboard. Overall I'm pretty happy with it, and exceeded my own expectations Sorry if the picture quality is a bit dark. I turned the flash off because it was slightly messing up the colours and finish of the tank.

Not sure what else to make now, but I guess I'll also pick up the Shamrock once that's released!

That is a fairly impressive camo job, especially considering it is your first model and you did it by hand! What kind of trouble were the decals giving you?

Also, how did you end up securing it to the display base?

I love it. Very nice representation of the tank. I too love this game. If they ever got around to releasing the empire tanks, I'd be forced to build a nice IG army with my count as Leman Russes.

Thanks!

The edges of stripe decals for the turrent weren't aligning properly, maybe I didn't cut them out accurately. Also had a bit of trouble getting the flag decals to conform to the curvy surface, mainly since it was on a delicate antenna, so I couldn't really beat it down. I also accidently put one of the flag decals upside down, but thankfully it hadn't dried yet at the time, so I was able to fix it without tearing it.

I haven't received my display case yet, but I'm probably just gonna use superglue for that. It's just sitting on the instruction manual for now

That would be awesome! I hope they at least make Lupus, out of the Imperial tanks

That is a cool ass tank and a cool ass paint job!

I've never heard of Valkyrie chronicles before but will have a search for it as if it's got vehicles like this it is very relevant to my interests.

Any chance of a scale pic?

It is 1/35 scale, the most common scale for AFV models.

Apologies I meant a size comparison picture like this

Sometimes a 1/35 looks far too big but some models will still work for 28-30mm gaming

Sorry, unfortunately I have no other models or miniatures to do a proper comparison pic :(

The size of the tank is approx 19 x 9 x 12cm, including the antenna. I dunno if this counts for anything, but I took a pic of it next to my S.H. figurarts of Trunks from DBZ, which is approx 13cm tall.
