I've been airburshing with a Iwata Eclipse HP-CS for about two years with a .35 needle and nozzle. I think i'ts time for a more precise setup.
Can someone please recommend a decently priced double action gravity feed brush that will accept a .15 needle?

I'm not sure what you consider "decently priced," but typically small needles are found in high-end ultra detailing airbrushes. One of the best ones available is the Harder and Steenbeck Infinity and it will set you back near $300. It should be noted that is is probably one of the best airbrushes out there right now and it definitely worth the money.

Yeah that's what I've noticed also.
I could also go with a .2 needle.

Also, it dose not have to come stock with a .15/.20 needle. I would be happy getting a cheap brush and buy a conversion kit for it.

Think this will be about as cheap as it will go.

You don't necessarily need to go that fine. You could think about grabbing something like the Badger Krome 2in1. Its tip is about a .22mm which should be fine enough and less problematic than some of the finer tips.

I would look into an HP B+ or maybe an harder and steenbeck.

I'm going to make a qualified statement:

I wouldn't get a badger.
I own three badgers (krome, sotar, patriot)
I own an Iwata cm c+
I own a paasche talon 3 in 1

Going from an iwata to a badger is going to be a big step down in quality. Their rigs just don't have the same solidity that the iwatas do and if you are used to an iwata trigger already i say stay with it. The trigger on my krome and sotar tend to bind a lot. I bought two quick releases for badger and no amount of teflon tape or beeswax could stop the leaking from the quick release.

I bought their flagship compressor the 910 i believe from michaels and it leaked like crazy. The motor would run every 20 or 30 minutes with no airbrush attached to it straight out of the box.

They do support their products well, i've sent two of mine back for repairs and they do it for about 8 bucks. So thats not bad but they don't compare to other brands IMO.

I own a Krome and a Sotar and I would say that your results are not typical.

I have had no problem with either brush and I prefer them to just about anything on the market (especially the Sotar). The Krome is what is: a solid mid-range airbrush. I have stopped using my mine as much and switched over to my Sotar, which I adore. The only brush on the market that I would replace my Sotar with is a H&S Infinity, but I can't justify spending that amount of money when I have a brush of near-equal quality.
