As a pacers fan, I still say yes. They're all going to play in the off season. Doing so in this kind of organized environment is probably the safest it can be.
I'm devastated over PG, but injuries sadly happen. They should guarantee that the basket stanchions are the appropriate distance from the baseline though, which is what seems to have been a big factor in PGs injury.
Also, If you haven't seen it, don't go look for it. Suffice it to say it was worse than the Kevin ware injury.

I saw it live. It didn't leave an impression in my mind like the Ware injury.
See as a non-North American sports fan international call ups are sign more as something to be worked toward, achieved and worn as a badge of honour but I saw the same attitude come out during Sochi which is odd to me.
Hopefully Paul George can still play after he's healed, that was one nasty break

Should Jozy Altidore (or however you spell his name), David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo all not play for their country because they play professional soccer for a team somewhere?
Should Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin, Patrick Kane, etc. be left off of their national teams, because they play in the NHL?
(for those who aren't from the US, or who are but still follow the greatest sport ever) Should Dan Carter, Danny Care, or Nick Cummins not play on their national teams, because they play professionally for a club?
Honestly, NOT having an international team/tournament to a sport is kind of an American thing, and we're only just now realizing that, in order to play many sports enjoyed the world over, we need a national level program...
I'm with Hlaine Larkin on this one, as with any sport that is played with a "National Team" on an international/world cup, etc. level, you want the National Pride ™ of saying "we're the best", and so you want the best players you have available as much as possible.
I feel the Olympics would be better if at random times they released rabid bears onto the fields.

Not only should they play, but if they lose they should be forced to live in New Mexico, forever.

Lions would be more historically accurate, but I like where you're going!

Executive thinking. Also, since we have some time, we need genetically modified flying monkeys.
ANGRY flying monkeys.
