Hard to say, with the rush out of 7th, they could have just FAQd stuff, but it seems they are rolling out new books pretty quickly, unless the intend just to give overhaul to long overdue Codecies. *shrug* Since my new book just came out (Orks), I'd be cool with the other factions getting new books too, though Im sure their respective players might be annoyed with needing to get a new Codex so soon.

The problem with the fast pace of GW's releases is that players are just finishing building and painting their models when they are invalidated (sorry genestealers).

They believe doing so will increase sales... when in reality, it will just increase frustration, which may lead to increased piracy.

It has led to more piracy (I never pirate anything though). I know a few gamers who pirate every piece of rules material they need.

The previous Codex release rate was abysmal. I can deal with a hardcover codex a month until they get all caught up.

Well, it will be interesting to see what will happen when all the 40k codices in the new format have been released.
I guess we will then see some digital supplements and if the sales will go further down, they will release 8th ed.
