Folks,

I am in the process of starting my Ork army. I am building various kits including the Batllewagon.

This doesn't appear to come with any rokkits in the box just big shootas.

Anybody know of any companies that make anything like rokkits so I can bash up the kit?

Cheers

Martin

I cant think of any companies of the top of my head.

They are fairly easy to make though, some plastic tube and a little green stuff all stuck to a stick. I have seen pen caps and their like used as well.

Other than that a lot of ork kits come with infantry rokkits that can easily be converted, the dread box comes with two rokkits and the nob box comes with a few (I think) combi rokkits that could be converted.

The Dakkajet has a bunch of scorcha missiles that can be turned into rokkits easy enough. Should find plenty of these on ebay.

IG hunter-killer missiles would also work. You should be able to find them pretty easily, since they come with every Guard vehicle and are basically never used.

As an alternative to using GS for the nosecones, if going the DIY route (which I would, considering the simplicity of the design - just a tube, some crude fins, and a cap), consider the poor man's mini-lathe, i.e. an electric drill. Just grab some scrap dowel or thick plastic rod, chuck up a short length in the drill, and spin it against a file or sandpaper. By slowly moving and controlling the angle of the file/paper, it's surprisingly easy to turn nice, symmetrical bullet shapes.

Or the marine equivalent from the marine vehicle sprue, which is similarly almost never used No fins, but still obviously a missile launcher

You can loot pretty much any sort of infantry missile launcher - once the orks have repaired/improved it and loaded it with orky missiles, it'll count-as a rokkit fine.

Browse the toy aisle at your local dollar store. Plenty of cheap gi joe knockoff toys that come with missiles, grenades, and other various explosive things you can repurpose for orks.

Use the scorch a missiles from the Blitza-Bommer set

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).

I've just tried putting a marine hunter killer missile barrel (the bit with just the barrel end and a missile poking out) on the end on an ork shoota - just remove/cover the shoota magazine etc and add a few rivets and it looks a pretty decent missile launcher.
